Junior Motion Designer - Performance Marketing
A high-growth direct-to-consumer brand is hiring a Junior - Midweight Motion Designer/Video Editor to support the creative output of its performance marketing team. The role focuses primarily on short-form video editing and motion graphics for paid social, with some secondary support on landing page design.
This is a hands-on production role where you will execute creative briefs and produce ad variations quickly. The team prioritises fast iteration and learning from performance data, so the role suits someone who enjoys working in a high-output creative environment.
The position is full-time and office-based four days per week to allow close collaboration with the Creative Strategist and Videographer.
The main responsibility will be editing UGC-style and product-led footage into paid social ads. You will create multiple variations of creatives including different hooks, captions, proof elements and calls to action. You will also ensure assets are formatted correctly for platforms such as TikTok and other paid social placements.
You will also support landing page creative in Figma. This includes designing page sections such as hero modules, benefit icons, comparison blocks and proof stacks. These assets will be used for ongoing conversion rate optimisation testing.
The role includes creating motion graphics such as kinetic typography, product callouts, testimonial framing and end cards. Over time you will help build reusable templates that improve creative production speed.
You will maintain organised project files and creative assets while collaborating closely with the Creative Strategist and Videographer. Feedback and iteration cycles are frequent, and creative output is regularly reviewed based on performance.
The ideal candidate has 0-2 years of experience or a strong portfolio demonstrating short-form editing and motion design. Experience working with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands is beneficial but not essential.
Required tools include Figma, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
This role is suited to someone with strong motion and editing fundamentals who can work quickly from a brief, stay organised and continuously improve creative output through iteration.
Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience.
