The Role:
As a Primary School Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a primary classroom, creating a structured and stimulating environment for young learners. You will plan and deliver creative, curriculum-aligned lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your pupils while fostering independence and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities of a Primary Class Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
* Create an inclusive and welcoming classroom where every child feels valued
* Plan differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform next steps
* Foster positive behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils and families
* Contribute to school initiatives and participate in wider school life
* Maintain accurate records and support the reporting process
* Collaborate with colleagues to share good practice and improve outcomes
* Attend planning meetings, CPD sessions, and staff briefings as required
* Promote the school’s ethos, vision, and safeguarding culture
Class Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE is essential
* Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
* Thorough understanding of the primary national curriculum
* Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
* A reflective and committed approach to teaching and professional growth
* Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)
