Wanted: Extraordinary SEN Tutor to Empower Extraordinary Young Minds *\n\nLocation: Leeds and surrounding areas\n\nSalary: Competitive\n\nHours: Flexible - you're in charge!\n\nStart Date: September 2025\n\nAre you the missing piece in a child's learning puzzle?\n\nWe're on the lookout for a patient, creative and compassionate SEN Tutor who sees the individual, not just the label. If you believe every child can learn - just not in the same way or on the same day - this is your calling.\n\nWondering what you'll be doing?\n\nWork 1:1 with students with a range of additional needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language challenges, SEMH needs)\nDesign and deliver bespoke, engaging learning sessions that play to each student's strengths\nBuild trusting, consistent relationships that support emotional regulation and confidence\nLiaise with families, schools and professionals to ensure joined-up support\nAdapt, improvise and sometimes dance in silly ways to keep a child engaged (optional, but encouraged!)\nKeep records of sessions and monitor pupils' progress.\nWho are we looking for?\n\nSomeone with proven experience working with children or young people with special educational needs\nSomeone with a deep well of empathy and a sense of humour\nRelevant qualifications (QTS, PGCE, or specialist SEN training preferred - but attitude and experience can shine just as brightly)\nConfident to plan independently and respond flexible to student needs\nA belief in progress over perfection\nWhat's in it for you?\n\nSupportive consultant that genuinely gets it\nAccess to CPD Academy and Thrive Training\nOpportunities to make a measurable impact - every single day\nA role where no two days are the same and every small victory feels huge\nReal Talk:\n\nWe don't just tutor - we champion, we scaffold, we celebrate.
