Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Payroll & Compliance Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly timesheets, as well as keeping our candidate compliance records up to date. You'll be the key link between our temporary workforce, clients, and internal teams, responsible for collecting authorised timesheets, liaising with candidates and clients, and ensuring all compliance and reference checks are in place. You will need to be confident, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

* Payroll Support: Collect and verify weekly timesheets from temporary staff.
* Payroll Support: Chase candidates and clients for completed and authorised timesheets.
* Payroll Support: Submit all authorised timesheets to the payroll department by set deadlines.
* Payroll Support: Maintain accurate records of timesheet submissions and approvals.
* Payroll Support: Address and resolve any timesheet-related queries in a timely manner.
* Candidate Compliance: Ensure all registered candidates have up-to-date compliance documents (e.g. Right to Work, DBS, qualifications).
* Candidate Compliance: Maintain and update internal compliance tracking systems.
* Candidate Compliance: Notify relevant teams of any missing or expired documentation.
* Candidate Compliance: Conduct regular compliance audits and follow-ups with candidates.
* Reference Checks: Obtain and document professional references for all new candidates.
* Reference Checks: Follow up with referees and escalate delays where necessary.
* Reference Checks: Ensure all reference records are accurately logged and securely stored.
* Other Duties: Support related administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance processes.


About You

* Previous experience in an administrative or compliance-based role preferable (recruitment agency experience is a plus).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Confident in chasing information from both candidates and clients.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with database systems.
