We’re looking for a People Advisor to join our dynamic and growing business. This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about people and wants to make a real difference. As a trusted advisor, you’ll bring a pragmatic, solution-focused approach and have the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels. Your experience in a fast-paced environment means you’re used to juggling multiple priorities while delivering high-quality HR support across areas like employee relations, performance, engagement, and change initiatives.

What does the role involve?
* Provide pragmatic, proactive HR advice to managers and colleagues in line with employment legislation, company policies, and best practices.
* Manage employee relations casework (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence) from start to resolution, ensuring consistency and fairness.
* Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures across the organisation.
* Partner with line managers to promote good people management practices and build confidence in dealing with people issues.
* Monitor sickness and absence trends and support the application of absence management procedures, including return-to-work processes and referrals to occupational health.
* Analyse HR data reports to support decision-making and identify trends or areas of concern
* Assist with organisation-wide initiatives, such as performance reviews, employee engagement and wellbeing.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and ensure HR practices reflect legal and regulatory changes.
* Support the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
* Collaborate with the wider People Team to deliver HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support the Central HR Admin Team with queries and ensure a helpdesk SLA’s are met
* Act as a role model for the company’s values and behaviours, fostering a positive, inclusive work culture
* Assist the People Lead and Business Partner’s when necessary
* Ensure changes to pay and benefits are given to Payroll
Who are we looking for?
* Someone with level 3 or 5 CIPD qualification
* 3 years experience
* A solid understanding of UK employment legislation and HR policy application
* A strong generalist HR background with experience in a fast-paced environment
* A pragmatic, confident communicator who can influence at all levels
* A true team player who collaborates and supports others
* Someone who thrives on autonomy and wants to be involved in decision-making
