Location: Cardiff Salary: DOE Bonus Company Car Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Permanent Role Summary Strong Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Estimator to oversee painting and decorating projects from initial enquiry through to completion. This role involves pricing, securing, and managing contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Survey properties and structures for painting works * Prepare accurate cost estimates including labour, materials, and timeframes * Produce competitive and well-presented tender packages * Create risk assessments and method statements, ensuring full HSE compliance * Manage contracts from start to finish * Oversee site-based operatives and ensure productivity targets are met * Maintain quality standards and ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations Requirements * Proven experience pricing painting and decorating projects * Track record of winning contracts through competitive tendering * Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Experience managing site teams and operatives * Ability to take projects from pre-construction through to completion * Strong IT skills * Full UK driving licence If you are interested in this position, please send your updated CV to ella.clay@strong-group.co.uk or call Ella on 0203 697 9433.
