MIG Welder Fabricator - Mansfield (NG20) - Temp-Perm Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 (Based on experience and weld test quality) Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:15am - 4:30pm | Friday 7:15am - 4:00pm (45-minute break) Barker Ross is currently recruiting for experienced MIG Welder Fabricators to join a well-established, heavy industrial engineering company based in Mansfield (NG20). The Role: You will be responsible for fabricating and welding heavy industrial components, working with thick plate materials and performing high-quality MIG welds to specification. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on a range of steel fabrications (up to 30mm plate) Carry out multi-run, T-fillet, and butt welds to a high standard Work from engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble structures Complete a welders qualification/test as part of the onboarding process Maintain a clean and safe working environment Requirements: Proven background in heavy industrial MIG welding and fabrication Ability to complete multi-run and butt welds on thick plate Competent in reading and working from detailed engineering drawings Must live within 1 hour travel of Mansfield (NG20) What's on Offer: Temp-Perm position with a stable and growing company Competitive pay based on weld quality (£30,000 - £33,000) Early Friday finish Excellent working environment with long-term career prospects If you're an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator looking for a secure role within a respected engineering company, apply today.
