Your challenges
:
1. Consistently and accurately perform technical service activities to the product group to which you are assigned and are supplied by Eppendorf.
2. Perform maintenance and repairs on customer site and in house.
3. Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
4. Maintain direct communication with the customer for the duration of the job.
5. Maintain up to date, extensive knowledge of the development of assigned Eppendorf products with training tools provided.
6. Manage stock of spares at the levels as indicated by the Service Manger
7. You are flexible to travel to multiple site locations within the UK and Ireland which at times may involve overnight stays, sometimes at short notice.
Your expertise:
8. A strong technical background and education
9. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
10. Knowledge of repair and maintenance of laboratory, medical and/or hospital equipment
11. Profound MS Office skills
12. Valid UK driving license
13. Effective communication skills, professional attitude towards putting the customer first.
14. Be located within the central belt of the UK; Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield areas.
