We are recruiting for a Project Co-ordinator to join our team delivering electrical power projects at transmission and distribution voltage levels. This role is to support the project management pre-construction and construction activities (from design to energisation) for large-scale high voltage infrastructure and grid connections at voltage levels normally between 11kV and 132kV and/or Low voltage high volume programmes of work. You will be responsible for resource co-ordination, supplier management, general project administration including procurement functions, document control. In addition you ll be supporting the PM reporting on project outputs, commercial information and assisting in providing regular progress reporting to the Programme Manager, Finance and Project Managers. Other ad-hoc duties. Principal responsibilities of the role Control and monitor DLO and Delivery Partner resource, assist with the scheduling all works whilst maximising productivity of all available resource, including site visits as required (at project managers request). Act as point of escalation for the customer, site and office teams for delivery elements of both planning and implementing current and future projects. Drive excellent customer service for internal and external customers, identifying potential risks / complaints and put mitigation in place to ensure the job runs smoothly. Liaise on project cost and provide progress reporting to the programme, finance and operations managers, on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Ensure projects are programmed in a timely manner, all documentation is controlled and circulate supporting client SLA s and financial targets. Review and capture Contractor and DLO outputs and ensure accuracy and quality of the data coming in from site. To identify and explore contractor, supplier and/or other partnership efficiencies that will help both the short-term project and long-term company profitability. Promote the company s reputation through a positive attitude and behaviours, good time keeping and a professional appearance. Supporting in seeking future sales opportunities either providing sales leads to the business development team and/or supporting estimators in the pricing and drafting of sales tenders. Deputise for the Project Manager(s) as required.
