Job Description:
Our client who are a law firm specialising in conveyancing is seeking a full-time conveyancer with experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire conveyancing process for residential and commercial properties from initiation to completion
Handle a portfolio of complex cases, ensuring each transaction adheres to legal requirements and timelines
Demonstrate a deep understanding of property law, regulations, and local conveyancing procedures
Provide expert advice to clients on legal matters related to property transactions, including title searches, zoning issues, and contractual obligations
Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and transfer documents
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation, minimising the risk of errors or discrepancies
Advise clients on any legal implications or risks associated with the property being conveyed
Perform title searches and examinations to verify the legal ownership of properties and identify any encumbrances or restrictions
Address any title-related issues and work towards resolving them efficiently
Collaborate with other legal professionals, paralegals, and support staff to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the conveyancing department
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
