HR Coordinator & Office Manager at Enviromena
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Solar O&M Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing solar power systems on-site.
This role requires attention to detail and the ability to respond to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Training and guidance will be provided to support your professional development.
This position is site-based, involving work away from home from Monday to Friday, as our sites are nationwide.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
* Diagnose and repair faults within solar PV systems, electrical systems, and related equipment.
* Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance according to site schedules.
* Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
* Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, repairs, and troubleshooting outcomes.
* Maintain efficient and safe operation of all on-site equipment, identifying areas for improvement.
* Assist with commissioning of new solar PV systems.
* Conduct scheduled monthly inspections and ensure a safe working environment.
Experience & Competencies
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems.
* Understanding of solar PV technology.
* Adherence to electrical safety regulations.
* Ability to diagnose system faults quickly.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education, Qualifications & Training
* Valid UK driving license.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, or similar qualification; 2391 qualification is desirable.
