Job Description
An established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of a Maintenance Engineer.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a fast-paced production environment where reliability, continuous improvement and engineering excellence are at the heart of the operation.Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, youll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime across site.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repair.Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to a high standard.Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Use structured problem-solving techniques to identify and eliminate root causes of failures.Work on a variety of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.Support maintenance improvement projects and equipment upgrades.Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.What Were Looking ForNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.Apprentice trained or equivalent practical engineering background.Minimum 5 years maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.Strong electrical fault-finding ability.Working knowledge of: AC & DC MotorsVariable Speed DrivesControl SystemsElectrical InstallationsPneumaticsAbility to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.Strong communication and team-working skills.Desirable Experience Reliability engineering experience.Continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis.Experience supporting engineering projects and equipment upgrades.Package£46,417 Basic SalaryOvertime AvailablePermanent PositionStable Manufacturing EnvironmentOngoing Training & DevelopmentOpportunity to work within a highly skilled engineering teamShift Pattern:Rotating 3 Shift Pattern (Earlies, Lates & Nights)6am - 2pm2pm - 10pm10pm - 6amIf youre an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a long-term opportunity within a well-established manufacturing environment, wed be keen to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
