Interim Senior Finance Manager - Strategy | £ 600-700 per day inside IR35 | 6 Months | Central London - Hybrid | High Growth Technology
A well-established, technology-led organisation is seeking an interim Senior Commercial Finance / Strategy Manager to join their team. This is a senior leadership role with strong visibility, partnering directly with executive leadership to shape company strategy, optimise investment decisions, and drive long-term profitability.
The role
* Lead, build, and scale a large finance & strategy team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
* Drive strategic decision-making and capital allocation across the business
* Own and improve financial planning, forecasting, and reporting frameworks
* Build and maintain complex financial models and business cases used across the organisation
* Track and analyse key business KPIs to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
* Partner with senior leaders across functions to influence strategy and drive execution
* Lead high-impact initiatives and special projects that support growth and operational efficiency
The ideal candidate
* 8+ years’ experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking
* Proven track record leading large, high-performing teams in a fast-growing company
* Strong experience owning budgets and forecasts for major organisational functions
* Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide strategic decisions
* Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets)
* Comfortable working with large datasets and basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn)
* Passionate about developing talent and setting a gold standard for finance excellence
