Candidates should be registered mental health nurses (RMN) with demonstrable clinical expertise in mental health, gained through relevant post‑registration experience and ongoing professional development. You will be a self‑motivated and enthusiastic practitioner who can manage your own caseload while working under the direction and supervision of Senior Band 6 staff and the Team Leader. Your practice will be underpinned by strong theoretical knowledge, an evidence-based approach, and the ability to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred, recovery‑focused interventions within a community setting. The service supports adults presenting with a wide range of mental health needs, including both acute conditions and severe and enduring mental illness. You will work as part of a varied and supportive multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) that includes psychiatry, social work, and occupational therapy. The post holder will contribute to the planning and delivery of group‑work programmes and will have the opportunity to develop or enhance skills in this area. You will receive regular formal clinical supervision and have access to informal supervision and support within the team. As part of your role, you will also provide supervision to Band 3 support staff.
