Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. And it drives us to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.
Are you….
* … able to build strong, long-lasting relationships with people?
* … organised, tenacious and determined to see things through to success?
* … passionate about helping children and young people?
If so, or if you have experience of fundraising or sales, community engagement or event management, then whatever you're doing right now you could be exactly who we need to support our network of amazing fundraising volunteers, establish new volunteer fundraising groups in North Wales, organise events and generally help to raise vital funds to support the work of the NSPCC.
The ability to engage verbally using the Welsh language is also desirable in this role
You'll become part of a passionate team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You'll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that'll bring the best out in you. And you'll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
Whilst this is a home-based role, there is a level of travel required in and across North Wales and therefore the successful candidate will need to be based in North Wales, with a full driving licence and access to a car. Further travel across Wales (travel expensed), plus occasional travel to other parts of the country for team meetings, training and to support the wider team is also included.
In return, we can offer a flexible working arrangement to ensure a healthy work/life balance. We also offer a variety of benefits including 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays increasing to 32 days after 5 years' service, employee benefits and assistance programme, generous matched pension, and life assurance schemes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's leading children's charity and work alongside a friendly, passionate and dedicated team. If you share our passion about the impact you can create for children, we'd love to hear from you.
Interviews will take place in August. If you would like an informal conversation regarding this position, please contact Jess Finnegan: Jess.Finnegan@nspcc.org.uk or on 01745 775180.
