Our client, a leader in the advanced manufacturing and aerospace supply chain industry, is looking for a driven and hands‑on Supplier Development Engineer to strengthen their growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building strong supplier partnerships, diving into manufacturing processes, and ensuring top‑tier quality and delivery performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Partner closely with the procurement team to support delivery goals and develop strong, long‑term supplier relationships.
* Conduct regular on‑site visits to suppliers to stay current on their operations, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
* Maintain ongoing assessments of supplier capacity and capability to ensure readiness and reliability.
* Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance, lead reviews, and drive corrective actions when issues arise.
* Support supplier quality performance monitoring through data analysis, prioritization, and continuous improvement activities.
What You Bring
* At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment.
* Solid understanding of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.).
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Target‑driven, proactive, and confident communicator.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Travel Requirements
* Regular domestic travel (approximately 75%).
* Occasional optional international travel.
