The Role
We are seeking a passionate, experienced and motivated Head of Pre‑School to lead our setting and inspire our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional who is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and education.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the pre‑school
* Ensure the setting delivers high‑quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Inspire, support and manage staff, encouraging professional development
* Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and the local community
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirements
* Monitor and support children’s learning, development and wellbeing
* Manage administrative tasks including planning, policies and record keeping
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 desirable)
* Previous leadership or management experience within an early years setting
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
* Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
* Passion for supporting young children’s development and learning
