Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a senior quantity surveyor to be engaged on a permanent basis in Whitehaven, Cumbria. What will you be doing? We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping projects running smoothly and financially on track. You'll prepare and agree valuations, variations, and final accounts, while keeping weekly progress reports clear and useful. Using Unifier software, you'll ensure all contract notices are submitted correctly and handle compensation event quotations. You'll monitor costs, labour, and materials to protect margins, place subcontract orders, and support tenders. Working closely with managers, you'll flag risks early and help keep delivery effective. Above all, you'll play a key role in making sure every project is managed with care, accuracy, and teamwork.
