WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE WITH COUNTERBALANCE FLT EXPERIENCE
Pay Rate: £25, 670 (23, 809 basic + £1780 shift allowance ) - Also potential to earn annual bonus of £1300.
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Day shift - 8 hours per day between the hours of 0600 hours - 1800 (Monday to Friday)
(Please note: This role has an out of hours "on call rota" - one week in every four. An extra payment of £150 is paid for each week you are on call, plus additional payments made if you are called out to site.)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment.
Stock Counts (Perpetual Inventory - PI),
General Housekeeping and occasional overtime to cover absence & holidays
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

o Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures
o Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck experience is ESSENTIAL for this role.
o Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders
o Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
o Reach truck experience preferred but but not essential
o Manual Handling Equipment experience (MHE)
o Basic computer skills
o Full driving license (ESSENTIAL)
