PURPOSE OF JOB: (OVERALL DESCRIPTION OF THE POST WITHIN THE TEAM AND ORGANISATION) The M365 Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for driving the adoption of M365 solutions and services. They will act as the technical go-to individual, leading customers in conversations focused on Modern workplace and security across all domains. Success in this position will be measured by the ability to drive profitability and meet growth targets based on new business on a monthly and annual basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft 365 solutions, including Microsoft Teams for collaboration and communication, SharePoint for document management and storage, OneDrive for cloud storage, Exchange Online for email and calendaring, the Power Platform suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents), Microsoft Intune for device management, and Azure Active Directory for identity and access management. Provide thought leadership internally and externally to drive the Bytes brand and promote our capabilities Develop know-how, best practice and drive creative thinking within the team to deliver commercially innovative solutions. INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with key stakeholders and specialists to build out and deliver the M365 Strategy Actively contribute to improving existing processes related to the delivery of successful outcomes to our customers Own and lead highly complex solution designs with responsibility for the overall technical integrity and functionality Collaborate with other Sales Teams, Specialists and Implementation teams to ensure successful outcomes for both Bytes and the customer Represent the company at customer events such as conferences, discussion forums, training events, webinars, and live customer-facing events Respond to RFP’s and produce statements of work for Bytes core Unified Communications Track opportunities using the companies CRM and provide monthly updates on key activities and wins QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: (DELETE AS REQUIRED IF ESSENTIAL OR DESIRABLE, REMOVE UNNECESSARY REQUIRENENTs) Educational Qualifications: Degree in engineering, Science or other relevant subjects DESIRABLE Professional Qualifications Microsoft 365 Certified: Any Qualifications across solutions ESSENTIAL Years of Experience Minimum 5 years in an Architect, Pre-Sales or Sales Engineer role ESSENTIAL Other Requirements The candidate must have a strong and proven track record in the successful production of proposals, RFP responses and statements of work Advanced communication and influencing skills. Able to articulate, write and present complex matters in a high quality, clear and concise manner appropriate to the audience. Able to influence stakeholders to mutually agreeable solutions. Relationship skills. Able to own and develop effective working relationships at various levels and work collaboratively with stakeholders with minimal direction. Market knowledge.
