Supply Teacher
Prospero Teaching, one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic Secondary Supply Teacher to join a school in Liverpool. Play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education!
Position Details:
1. Location: Liverpool
2. Type of Work: Long Term
3. Start Date: As soon as possible
4. Contract Type: Temporary
5. Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
6. Rate of Pay: Paid to scale
7. Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Responsibilities:
8. Classroom Management: Maintaining order and discipline in the classroom, ensuring that students stay on task and follow school rules and policies.
9. Instruction Delivery: Following lesson plans left by the teacher to provide instruction to students. This may include delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and conducting activities.
10. Adaptability: Quickly adapting to different classroom environments and being flexible with various subjects and grade levels.
11. Student Support: Providing help and support to students, answering their questions, and assisting with their work.
12. Assessment and Feedback: Administering tests or quizzes if required, and providing feedback on student performance
13. Engagement: Keeping students engaged and motivated and fostering a positive learning environment.
Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
14. Teaching Qualification: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
15. Experience: Previous experience working in a UK secondary school is essential.
16. Safeguarding Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, but not essential as training is provided).
Eligibility Requirements:
17. Right to Work in the UK
18. Enhanced Child Barred List DBS Certificate: Must be registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
19. Professional References: Provide two professional references.
