Our client is a well-established and renowned Landscape Business with a wealth of expertise within the high end domestic and commercial markets. They now are looking for a Landscape Architect to join their business YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Youll join in with our company events and socials where possible, helping to build a collaborative work environment. Youll uphold our company values, outlined in our employee handbook. Youll laisse with external design team members and address coordination issues. Youll liaise with clients and attend meetings when required. Youll attend regular CPD sessions and events, including design crits and knowledge sharing sessions in the office. Youll work closely with other members of staff including designers, foremen, site and maintenance operatives, and the admin team to achieve project objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES With support from your line manager, youll mange and programme the deliverables on projects through each Workstage to meet the required milestones and deadlines. With support from your line manager, youll manage the design process and produce the relevant material for design presentations. Youll produce construction detail drawings and assist with tender packages. Youll generate specifications, presentations, and other documents as part of the design process. Youll manage the health and safety obligations of a designer for all projects you are working on. Youll manage the drawing protocol on the relevant file sharing sites for each project. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Youll have a degree in landscape architecture, but well also welcome experienced garden designers with a diploma in garden design. Youll have strong design skills, and youll understand how to conduct effective site analysis that translates into a coordinated design. Youll have a good knowledge of planting and planting styles. Youll be experienced in using 2D AutoCAD, InDesign, Sketch Up and Photoshop. Youll be fluent in both spoken and written English. Youll be organised, analytical and manage your time efficiently. Youll have a general understanding of planning legislation and how this relates to projects. Youll have a reasonable understanding of landscape construction including monitoring construction work and site reporting.
