Job title: Learning Support Assistants
Location: Ashington
Hours: Full time
Salary: £83 - £110 per day
Are you ready to kickstart your career in education? Look no further- We are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistant at mainstream Primary schools in Ashington. Come and join our dedicated and enthusiastic team.
Role and Responsibilities
* Delivering catch-up sessions
* Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
* Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
* Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing the classroom and clearing away after class to ensure effective teaching can take place.
* The ability to challenge children when they display negative behaviour and become reluctant learners.
* Available to work Monday to Friday Term time only – hours of
Requirements
* You will use your initiative, be well organised and pro-active.
* A strong regard for pupil safety and wellbeing.
* Be a qualified level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or have other relevant experience ( care, family member support, Youth work etc )
* An enhanced DBS on the update service OR the willingness to complete an immediate application
* RTW in the UK and a fully checkable work history
