Service Adviser
Henley-on-Thames | Competitive salary + commission
Join a dealership with heritage, and help shape its future.
For generations, we’ve been trusted in Henley-on-Thames and beyond to deliver expertise, integrity, and genuine customer care. Now, as we enter an exciting growth phase, we’re looking for a Service Adviser to support the delivery of an exceptional aftersales experience for our customers and help strengthen our workshop operation.
This is not a high-volume, transactional service desk role. Our customers value honesty, quality, attention to detail and personal service. We are looking for someone who shares those values and takes pride in clear communication, strong organisation and delivering the standard of care that our customers deserve.
You will work as part of a small and collaborative aftersales team alongside our experienced Service Consultant, reporting to our ambitious Service Manager.
What you’ll do
· Support the day-to-day running of the aftersales department
· Act as a key point of contact for customers with vehicles in the workshop
· Keep customers updated on vehicle progress, timescales, additional work and completion
· Prepare estimates and obtain approval for additional work before it is carried out
· Liaise closely with technicians and the Service Manager to help maintain efficient workshop flow
· Ensure job cards, customer notes and service documentation are accurate and up to date
· Coordinate with parts and workshop teams to support timely completion of work
· Assist with vehicle check-in and handover, ensuring customers feel informed and looked after throughout
· Explain completed work clearly and professionally at collection
· Handle aftersales queries in a calm, helpful and professional manner
· Identify genuine opportunities to support aftersales sales in an honest and consultative way
· Help build long-term customer relationships that encourage trust, retention and repeat business
· Build strong relationships with your team
What we offer
· Competitive basic salary + commission.
· The chance to work amongst exciting performance, prestige and classic cars – from MOT’s through to restorations.
· Access to a loyal, established customer base in Henley and the surrounding area.
· Strong backing: experienced management, marketing support, and sales administration team.
· A values-driven culture built on honesty, teamwork, and long-term progression.
