Electrical Multiskilled Engineer Role Purpose: Are you already a Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, Electrical Controls Engineer or a Process Engineer seeking a shift-based engineering role working for a business who will continually invest in both you and the business? As a shift based Electrical Multi Skilled Engineer, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to work at our Littleborough site working with a variety of specialist equipment from PLC's, motor controls, electrical wiring and mechanical systems including pneumatics and motors and gearboxes. Working as part of our highly skilled and well-established Engineering Team, youll be driven and skilled in conducting planned, preventative maintenance including condition-based monitoring, finding and rectifying fault through inputs and outputs and reading and acting on data. The Job Role: Our Electrical Multiskilled Engineers work with other teams to ensure production and safety are delivered to a high standard.The environment is fast-paced and will help develop your technical skills on a day to day basis. Meeting all Health & Safety requirements and controls, you will have a flexible approach to your working hours on a 2-shift system, (6.00am 2.00pm, 2.00pm 10.00pm) with an overtime option to cover weekends if required. Key tasks will include: Organisation of preventative maintenance, alongside diagnosis and corrective breakdown maintenance of plant and equipment in line with company policies and procedures Participate in project work. Participate in the writing, reviewing and training of maintenance procedures including LOTO Participate in raising and reviewing risk assessments Source and control of external contractors and their services in line with Company policy and procedures Sourcing and ordering of critical / non-critical spare parts Essential for the role:. Able to work a rotating shift pattern (6.00am 2.00pm, 2.00pm 10.00pm) Electrical bias but with some mechanical experience desirable Previous experience of troubleshooting and repairing systems utilising PLC's, motor controls, electrical wiring and mechanical systems including pneumatics and gears. Existing knowledge of manufacturing systems and the skills required to maintain, repair and troubleshoot such systems. Engineering qualifications such as (but not limited to) 17 th / 18 th Edition, Apprenticeship, HNC/D Analysing and problem-solving skills, looking for problems before they occur Ability to make timely decisions, knowing the risks and implications GCSEs in English and Maths What can we give you?
