Job Description:
Qualifications & Experience:
* High School diploma or equivalent with extensive experience in data collection, documentation, or benchmarking within the Mechanical/Automotive industry.
* Any bachelor’s degree with strong experience in data collection, documentation, or benchmarking within the Mechanical/Automotive industry.
Skills:
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of automotive components and vehicle systems.
* Good English communication and coordination abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in recorded data.
* Ability to work closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers.
Responsibilities:
* Data Collection & Recording.
* Assist in capturing detailed specifications, measurements, and teardown observations of vehicles and components.
* Document physical attributes such as dimensions, weights, material composition, and part numbers.
* Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry into benchmarking databases.
* Capture parts photography in different orientations using a DSLR camera.
* Support video documentation of vehicle teardown for reference.
* Ensure all data collection activities follow internal benchmarking methodologies/processes.
Data Management:
* Maintain structured records of collected data, ensuring easy accessibility and retrieval.
* Work closely with the quality team to validate and cross-check collected data.
* Prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel sheets to visualize benchmarking findings.
* Support engineers in creating data-driven comparisons between benchmarked vehicles.
* Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and data confidentiality policies.
* Suggest improvements for streamlining data collection and documentation processes.
