Education World is working with a friendly and progressive secondary school to recruit Behaviour Mentors to support students across key stages 3 and 4, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Role Details
* Support children with SEMH needs such as challenging behaviour, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
* Work with students aged 11-18 years.
* Build professional relationships and manage challenging behaviour confidently.
Ideal Candidates
Applications are welcome from candidates with various experiences, especially those who have worked with challenging behaviour. This role is suitable for future or aspiring teachers, sports coaches, SEND teaching assistants, youth workers, and support workers interested in education.
Requirements
* Experience working with children aged 11-18.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
* Ability to build professional relationships with students.
