Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department by assisting with the smooth processing of property transactions. This position is ideal for individuals who already have a good knowlege of the conveyancing process.
Responsibilities
* Assist solicitors and conveyancers with the preparation and submission of legal documents related to property transactions.
* Manage client communications, ensuring timely updates and responses to queries.
* Conduct property searches and gather necessary information from various sources.
* Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to facilitate the conveyancing process.
* Support the team in meeting deadlines and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
* Attend to administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Skills
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Proficiency in using office software and case management systems particularly LEAP
* A basic understanding of property law or previous experience in a legal environment is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
