About You
Successfully held an Assistant Merchandiser role, preferably within fashion retail
Experience of development and coaching
Ability to think commercially
Excellent Interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
Ability to work independently to tight deadlines
About the Role
As a Junior Merchandiser you will be responsible for a particular product range from beginning to end, managing the supplier relationships, Range Plan and WSSI, attending meetings and working with the Buying teams to land the range successfully with close support from the Merchandiser of the department.
What you do:
Preparation of seasonal buying plans and budgets through thorough analysis of the ranges historical data, understanding future trends and activities.
Set and agree core KPIs for the range with the respective Junior Buyer/Buyer in terms of sales, stoke intake phasing, margin, stock turn, markdown and terminal stock, translating KPIs into a range framework.
Work with the Junior Buyer/Buyer to develop a commercial range within this framework, establishing initial stock intake plans and stock covers.
Complete range plans to ensure a balanced product offer is bought.
Ensure the final range selected meets the targets outlined, delivering the range jointly with the Junior Buyer/Buyer.
