We are seeking a permanent Charity Fundraising Executive to Join our Charity Team in Cornwall.
As a Charity Fundraising Executive you will be acting as a brand ambassador for the Charity in the local area. You will do this by building local relationships with businesses / community groups, as well as delivering fundraising events throughout the year.
Our Team
Cash for Kids is the in-house charity of Bauer Media in the UK. Working closely with our colleagues in both the radio & publishing divisions of Bauer, we fundraise all year round to enable us to award grants to help those most in need. Cash for Kids has local fundraising teams in 22
In this role, you will be expected to work at home, in the office and in the field. Our office location is in Redruth, Cornwall. (A Car Allowance is included)
What you'll be doing
As our Charity Fundraising Executive, you’ll be building new relationships and developing existing ones across the Cornwall territory. Other duties will include:
* Assist the Charity Manager with the day to day running of the charity, performing key administrative & financial tasks.
* Assist with the grant applications process.
* Seeking out new partnership opportunities with local businesses, schools, universities and community groups.
* Planning and delivering our biggest campaign of the year – Mission Christmas.
* Making Cash for Kids famous in the area by seeking out media partner & influencer partnership opportunities.
* Keeping the local Cash for Kids website & social media platforms updated with news stories & engaging content.
* In this role you will be responsible for your own set of KPIs and delivery on financial targets.
What you'll bring
* Organised, accurate and thorough with excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
* Flexible to work evenings/weekends when required.
* A team player; developing excellent working relationships internally and externally.
* A holder of a current, full clean UK driving licence.
* Knowledgeable in social media platforms and able to use them effectively.
