The role
Temporary – 26.25 hours per week term time only (worked over 5 days, Mon-Fri) linked to a child with an EHCP. We require an energetic, enthusiastic and confident Teaching Assistant to join our happy, supportive Year 2 team. In the main the role will involve supporting a child in Year 2 who has an Education, Health and Care Plan pending. This will be under the direction of the Class Teacher and SENDCo. As well as being familiar with the Key Stage One Stage curriculum, the successful candidate will be: •Consistently positive, calm and patient in their approach to children; •Committed to giving the very best support to children; •A committed and enthusiastic team player; •An effective communicator; •Able to follow directions and work under their own initiative; •Willing to meet the child’s needs and partake in any relevant training; •Physically able to support the child.
