The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of a small Accounting Practice with office in Hoddesdon.
The Role
As Accounts Assistant you will support the Senior Accountants with the provision of accounting and bookkeeping duties, payroll and client management. Day to day duties will consist of:
1. Core book-keeping, reconciliations, journal postings etc
2. VAT returns
3. Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
4. Outsourced payroll services - processing PAYE/NIC deductions and pension contributions
5. Monthly CIS returns
6. Use of Sage Cloud, Sage t0, Quickbooks and Xero.
Your Profile
You will be an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant and ideally will have worked in a Professional Accountancy Practice. You will be given the tools to develop and grow including support for AAT and/or ACCA.

The Practice has been operating for a number of years and has an excellent core client base across the Hertfordshire area.

Role of Accounts Assistant based in Hoddesdon is working in the office 5 days a week and is well served by local transport links and offers Free Parking with a salary range of £28-35K
