Milk Education are recruiting for a compassionate and skilled SEN Early Years / KS1 Teacher to join a fantastic specialist SEN school in Dagenham. This role is perfect for a teacher with experience supporting children with a range of needs, including ASD, SLD, and MLD, who is passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive learning environments for younger pupils.
The school is supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking, with a strong focus on diversity and equality. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in helping pupils develop communication, social, and early learning skills that will lay the foundation for their future progress.
What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons tailored to Early Years / KS1 SEN learners
Supporting pupils with ASD, SLD, and MLD to access the curriculum at their own pace
Promoting inclusion, independence, and personal development in every lesson
Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support
✅ Experience / Qualifications
QTS / QTLS status (essential)
At least 2 years’ teaching experience, ideally within SEN settings
Strong knowledge of Early Years / KS1 curriculum and SEN strategies
Empathy, patience, and a commitment to inclusive education
