Greenwell Gleeson are working exclusively with a high growth business based in Sutton Coldfield to recruit an FP&A analyst. This is a brand new role for the business, which is now critical due to growth.
The FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance department and senior management in various financial planning and analysis activities. This individual will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting financial data to provide insights and recommendations that will guide key business decisions. The analyst will also play a key role in the successful implementation of new FP&A software.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination: Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and project teams to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget with respect to the proposed new FP&A software.
2. Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users' post-implementation. Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize system functionality and usability.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist the finance team with annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Monitor budget-to-actual variances and provide insightful analysis to explain differences and identify areas for improvement.
