Overview
We are a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people. You will support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools, by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) and other needs such as SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We work with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
Responsibilities
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Qualifications and Requirements
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
