Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Newmarket or Northampton (Pitsford) (hybrid working of 2 days working from home per week available upon successful completion of probation)
About the role
Lycetts Insurance Brokers, part of Benefact Group, is seeking a Senior Account Handler to join our offices in Newmarket or Northampton.
The role involves managing insurance and financial services for Lycetts commercial clients and prospects, supporting business development through quotes and cross-referrals.

Key responsibilities
* Collaborate with senior and account executives to manage client and prospect accounts.
* Handle incoming inquiries and prepare quotations for new business.
* Identify cross-referral opportunities and develop relationships with professionals and insurers.
* Prepare documentation for meetings and presentations.
* Arrange appointments with other teams and contribute to cross-referral targets.
* Mentor team members and develop business opportunities.
* Maintain records using OpenGI and other systems.
* Manage renewal lists effectively.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
* Develop in-depth insurance technical knowledge.
* Experience with Acturis is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to build cooperative and productive relationships.
