After more than 20 years at the forefront of renewables, we're looking for an ambitious Solar PV Project Manager who wants to become the go-to technical specialist in a growing, established company where your engineering expertise drives project success.
This opportunity is for you if you're a technically astute solar professional with project management experience who's ready to take complete ownership of commercial installations and establish yourself as a key member of our project team.
As Solar PV Project Manager, you'll report directly to our Operations Director and have full autonomy to manage projects across the entire lifecycle - from project initiation through to final handover. Unlike larger corporates where engineers get pigeonholed into narrow specialisms, here you'll own every stage: planning, execution, monitoring, control and closing.

Based from home (ideally Midlands location for UK-wide coverage) with regular site visits, you'll work hands-on with commercial solar and BESS installations (100kWp to 3MW) plus domestic projects on a commercial scale. From AC/DC testing and inverter commissioning to BMS integration and G100 compliance, you'll use your engineering skills across the full technical spectrum.

Qualifications
* 17th/18th Edition qualified engineer with solid commercial solar and BESS experience across the complete project lifecycle.
* Project management experience with proven ability to take projects from design stage through to delivery and handover.
* Technically excellent with AC/DC test result interpretation, inverter/BESS setup, validation and commissioning experience.
* Health and safety qualified (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS/ECS) with experience in risk management and compliance.
* Ambitious and self-motivated. Looking for a role where your engineering expertise shapes project outcomes rather than just following procedures.
* Flexible to spend short periods away from home for site visits (1-2 days per week).
