Job Title: WRNA Case Champion
Location: Farida Women’s Centre – Oldham
Hours: 30 Hrs per week
Salary: £12.76 per hour
Responsible to: POPS’ WRNA Project Manager and Centre Lead.
POPS (Partners of Prisoners & Families support Group) is a Charity set up to support the loved ones of those in prison and on community sentence. The Charity was founded by prisoners’ families in 1988 ,we currently provide Family Support services in 15 prisons across the North West and Yorkshire & Leicester.
The Women’s Risk and Needs Assessment (WRNA) The project is designed to improve current understanding of the needs and strengths of justice-involved women and to consolidate the evidence base for the effectiveness of women’s centres.
This is a dual role of being WRNA case worker but also as a Women’s Support Worker, responsible for the delivery of support service for women subject to Probation supervision, many of whom will have multiple or complex needs.
This post will work closely with Probation Practitioners, the engage women subject to Probation supervision, to undertake support and deliver a range of interventions to address and resolve identified issues and develop strategies to bring about positive changes to their lives.
