Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties
* Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management.
* Help maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit.
* Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team to provide updates on client wellbeing.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
* Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
* Strong IT skills to manage documentation and use relevant software applications.
* Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
