Le Cafe du Marche is an independent French restaurant, located in Farringdon, London (2 minutes from the Elizabeth Line). We will be celebrating our 40th Birthday this year. Our reservation diary is open for bookings from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
We are looking for a full time Events Head Waiter/Waitress to join our team.
We have a private dining room on our first floor, Le Grenier, which is hired for both corporate and private events. We have many repeat customers booking Le Grenier, testament to our reputation for delivering a great experience and as an institution in the area. We are also hired exclusively for weddings. Large groups also book on the ground floor restaurant.
Job Role & Responsibilities Responding and managing events enquiries by phone & email
Organising meetings with guests
Running events & weddings service
Setting up and looking after our private dining room
We are looking for someone with: previous events experience
previous bar and floor experience
a hands on approach
a good attitude
flexibility and initiative
What we offer: Approximately 45 hour week, Tuesday to Saturday inclusive
Food on duty
In the evening the restaurant closes at 11pm so not late finish
Friendly team and management
Closed Sundays & Mondays
Closure over Easter, Christmas and New Year
Salary - dependent upon experience and to be discussed at the interview
