Supervisor

Ringway Jacobs has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our Operations Team in Cheshire. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role plays a key part in coordinating and delivering a wide range of highway works, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs and emergency responses.
You will be responsible for scoping works, overseeing delivery and ensuring that operational priorities are met efficiently and safely across the network. Working closely with operational teams and supply chain partners, you will help ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standards and in line with the service’s strategies, policies and the Council’s requirements.

The Role
1. Manage and direct supply chain partners and self-delivery teams delivering key maintenance activities.
2. Ensure that all information required to carry out works is available and clear.
3. Deliver daily briefings and communicate clearly to operational teams.
4. Complete daily record sheets and associated documents.
5. Ensure that works are completed to the required standard and within required timescales.
About You
6. Good knowledge and application of design procedures, guidance and standards and good practice documents
7. Good knowledge of Construction, Design and Management regulations and application of Health and Safety legislation
8. Knowledge of and application of Highway Legislation
9. Conversant with Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
10. CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
11. NRSWA – Supervisor (New Road and Street Works Act) Qualification
12. SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
13. First Aid Certification
