Administration Support Officer

Job overview
To provide an effective, high quality administration support to Therapy Services working within the Therapies department.
The Joint Therapy Services team is a forward looking and proactive multidisciplinary team providing therapy services across the acute and primary healthcare sector within West Cheshire Area.
The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
Main duties of the job
* Serve as reception and appointment service for all patients attending Therapy Services.
* Undertake registration routines of Cerner and/or Emis, logging referral letters, carrying out referral actions and scheduling walk‑in appointments.
* Answer the appointments hotline and handle telephone calls, including message taking and forwarding.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent / or relevant administration experience
Knowledge and Expertise
* Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
* Knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act
Experience
* Typing experience
* Experience of dealing with the public on the telephone and face to face
