This 11-18 mixed secondary school in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department on a long-term basis from Easter. Working as part of an established team, the long-term Geography Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to KS3-KS5 students. You will also be involved in staff development, training and wellbeing.
Rated Good by OFSTED in January 2024, this secondary school offers excellent resources and facilities, including a fantastic Sixth Form Centre. With free on-site parking and a full UK driver’s licence in the Southend-on-Sea area, this role is well-suited to Geography Teachers. The school provides strong CPD opportunities and a dynamic teaching environment in a brand new site with state-of-the-art classrooms and facilities.

Requirements
The desired Long-term Geography Teacher will have:
* Experience of working in a Secondary School as a Geography Teacher
* Knowledge of the UK Curriculum and the ability to teach students how to problem-solve
* Resilience, determination and a passion for your subject
* PGCE with QTS and right to work in the UK
* Suitable for Geography ECTs
