About the role
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you will bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist customers on driveways, providing servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks.
* Manage stock, complete reporting tasks and maintain customer communication.
* Make decisions on the spot to meet each customer’s needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician on a range of light vehicles.
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Working Conditions
* Full‑time 40‑hour week, core hours 08:30–17:00.
* One day per four Saturdays.
* RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided.
Compensation & Benefits
* Base salary £45,370 (including London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) with on‑target earnings up to £57,000.
