This is an exciting opportunity to lead a 3-bedded EBD children's home in the heart of Kirkham. With a strong Deputy already in place, a stable and dedicated team, and a leadership group who truly value and support their staff, this role offers both security and progression.
The company is a small but ambitious independent provider that started in supported accommodation before expanding into children's residential care. With further homes planned in the local area, you''ll be part of a forward-thinking organisation where your voice matters and your impact is felt every day.

About the Role
* Lead and manage a 3-bed EBD children's home
* Take responsibility for registration, compliance, referrals, and matching
* Inspire and develop a dedicated team alongside a supportive Deputy Manager
* Embed a positive, therapeutic, and trauma-informed culture
* Maintain compliance and uphold the highest standards of care
* Build strong partnerships with families, local authorities, and external professionals
* Ensure individual care plans reflect each child\'s needs and aspirations
* Promote a culture of praise, growth, and consistency
* Share on-call responsibilities with the Deputy Manager
Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
* At least 2 years' experience under Ofsted regulations
* Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in children's residential care (Team Leader/Deputy upwards)
* Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Ofsted inspections, and safeguarding procedures
* Strong leadership skills with a nurturing, motivational approach
* Resilient, flexible, and committed to child-centred practice
* Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential
