Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of factory operations, including production, quality control, and maintenance.
* Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
* Monitor production metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among all employees.
* Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for staff.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to streamline operations and resolve issues.
* Prepare reports on production performance, challenges, and opportunities for management review.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
* Proficiency in using manufacturing software systems for tracking production metrics.
