We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Learning Support Assistant (Behaviour LSA) to join our dynamic team at secondary schools in Romford. As a Behaviour LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioural challenges, fostering a conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and group support to students, addressing behavioural and emotional needs.
* Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored behaviour management strategies.
* Assist in developing and maintaining Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
* Monitor and report on student progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.
* Promote positive behaviour and social interactions among students.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Behaviour LSA or in a similar role within an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations.
* Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs or behaviour support are advantageous.
