1:1 Teaching Assistant – Junior School (Salisbury) Full-Time | Term Time Only | £13.75 per hour We are seeking a caring, committed, and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive junior school in Salisbury, working with pupils aged 7–11 years. This full-time, term-time-only role involves providing dedicated support to a named child, working closely with them to meet the specific needs outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). You will play a key role in helping the child access the curriculum, develop socially and emotionally, and thrive within the school environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored support to meet the individual needs of a pupil with an EHCP Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment Work collaboratively with class teachers and SEND staff Support the pupil’s academic, emotional, and social development Record and monitor progress in line with EHCP outcomes About You: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in a 1:1 capacity A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A good understanding of SEN and EHCP frameworks Relevant qualifications or training desirable Start Date: September Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour Join a dedicated team making a real difference in the lives of young learners.
