Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic, highly organised, and data-savvy Stock and Inventory Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring inventory accuracy, and optimising purchasing processes across the business. A key aspect of the position involves serving as the internal EazyStock system champion, using the platform to drive efficiencies, enhance forecasting accuracy, and ensure stock availability aligns with operational and commercial needs. Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of stock and inventory management processes across multiple product lines. Maintain accurate stock levels and data integrity in collaboration with warehouse and procurement teams. Act as the EazyStock subject matter expert, supporting ongoing implementation, optimisation, and training initiatives. Work with purchasing teams to generate automated and manual purchase orders via EazyStock, based on demand planning and reorder points. Analyse inventory data to reduce excess stock, improve stock turns, and minimise stockouts. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and align stock holdings with sales trends. Develop regular reports and dashboards to track KPIs such as stock availability, order fill rate, and inventory value. Provide training and support to team members on EazyStock best practices. Work with IT and Finance teams to ensure systems integration and data consistency. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in inventory or stock control, purchasing, or supply chain operations. Strong working knowledge of stock optimisation and forecasting tools. Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret and act on inventory data. Proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet tools; ERP system experience is a plus. Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments. Ability to work independently and proactively improve systems and processes. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Experience within a distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing environment. Formal qualifications in supply chain, logistics, or operations (e.g., CIPS, APICS) are advantageous.
