Are you passionate about recovery-focused, person-centred care? Do you want to make a real difference to people living with psychosis? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our dynamic and compassionate team.
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, creative Occupational Therapist to join our Older Peoples Living Well with Psychosis team. This role is part of an innovative pathway designed to support individuals with complex mental health needs in building fulfilling lives beyond diagnosis.
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria.
The role is based within our Stepped Care Therapy team, a collaborative service comprising Psychologists and Occupational Therapy professionals. You’ll receive supervision from a Senior Occupational Therapist specialising in psychosis and have the opportunity to connect and coordinate with others professionals across the pathway. We offer comprehensive training and excellent scope to apply occupational formulation and structured treatment planning. You’ll work in close partnership with a diverse multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, community psychiatric nurses, support workers, and social workers. A full driving licence and access to transport is essential for this post.
